    iPhone 4 shoots back

    18/365 – iPhoneography

And the story goes – it got me before I got it. It’s all about who shoots first, and needless to point out, the Macbook Pro is faster at shooting than the iPhone 4. So, here’s to a picture that wasn’t taken with an iPhone.

We all know it has an expiry date

    16/365 – iPhoneography

We just won’t admit it, but the day you buy one, it starts to depreciate exponentially at an unknown rate. If you’re lucky, it could be months before its just paperweight. For the fortunate, a good run would be a solid year or two. It’s unfortunate, but computer books these days just aren’t useful. This would probably explain why we are all of a sudden plagued with ebook readers on steroids.

I purchased my last programming book roughly 5 months ago, and by the time the snow clears, we would already be in the next version of the language. Although the consistent updates doesn’t invalidate any existing information, it does bring about a heightened sense of alarm.

    15/365 – iPhoneography

Welcome to my quick catchup shot to the iPhonography challenge. Seeing as I’m now officially 3 days behind, I’ll be kicking this crazy habit into overdrive.

As I type this, I’m sore all over. I’ve decided to convert one portion of my basement into a home gym and picked up the second edition to the family. Immediately as it got assembled, the dust on the treadmill that’s been sitting in the corner suddenly disappeared. Who’da thunk it? I guess the only thing missing is a mirror and some big Italian dudes to stare at their reflection and say “what, you wanna piece of this! C’mon…”

    12/365 – iPhoneography

I tend to believe that we all have a calling. When I was a kid, I would sing my heart out when it came to working in the ocean with the whales and the sharks. “Under the seeeeaaaa… where the seaweeds grow…” And then I had my first introduction to the movie JAWS, and it was a wrap. And now, the only time you see me talking about a fish is when I’m choosing one from the dinner menu.

    So fresh and so clean

Desperately needed a wash. Then again, with all the snow, dirt and salt on the ground, what’s the point?

Here, I’m at the Shell car wash. I think they’ve got the best wash period (cause I’ve been to all the others), but their dryer time sucks! Esso on the other hand, has an OK wash, but great drying time. Petro Canada has a wonderful package where you can purchase 3 months of car washes at 150, but they have it all wrong. They give you 3 months of daily washes. Why not 90 days instead so I can use it over the course of however long I need?
